In the first half of March 2009, the Vice Prime Minister of the Georgian Government and State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Giorgi Baramidze officially visited the Slovak Republic. We interviewed him on the current position of the Slovak Republic on Georgian integration into Euro-Atlantic structures, the prospects of NATO and EU membership as well as the impact of the August Georgian-Russian conflict on the integration process.
